about me
I am Georgiana-Andreea Nan and I'm an artist, graphic designer and illustrator from Brașov, Romania.
I was fascinated by crayons since I was 3 and I used to draw on the walls when left alone, not being concerned about the never ending conflict with my parents. I used to draw with both hands alternately. I loved cartoons and I felt a strong curiosity for how they were made. Walt Disney was my hero and Bernard & Bianca were my favourite characters.
My fantasy expanded easily because I'm a daydreamer. My favourite tools are the brushes and the watercolours, but I also love sketching with the fineliner pen.
Back when I was 24, illustrating was just a hobby and I had already failed with trying to be an architect or a video game developer. But then life guided me in the right direction towards Werbeakademie, an advertising academy in Vienna, where I studied Graphic Design for 2 years. I subsequently upgraded my knowledge and my experience during the next 2 years at the Staffordshire University in Vienna, through which I gained my BA degree in Graphic Design.

I'm currently working as a graphic designer & illustrator at NAN GRAPHIC ARTS SRL, my own company, in Brașov, Romania.
